Ski and Snowboard Rack Buyers Guide

Ski and snowboard carriers make it fast and easy to get your gear to the mountain, while also protecting your vehicle from damage, mud, and water. When choosing a ski or snowboard carrier, you'll need to consider the following;

  1. Are you carrying snowboards, skis or both
  2. What type of roof racks you have
  3. Extra storage space for other gear

Ski and Snowboard Racks

The most common snow sport carriers clamp the top and bottom of your skis and boards. They're easy to use and have a secure locking mechanism to keep your gear safe. Our most popular models are the Thule SnowPack and Rhino-Rack 57x Series.

You can use them with both skis and snowboards - individually or together, depending on the size of the rack. You can fit these to most Roof Rack bar types based on your crossbar length.

Having your gear strapped to the roof means less clutter in your car, and less chance of damaging your interior. Plus - you can fit more friends in for the ride.

Roof Boxes

Roof Boxes come in a variety of sizes to accommodate different needs, so you can choose the one that best fits your gear. They're super easy to install and remove, and are able to carry other equipment.

Their durable construction ensures that your gear stays safe and secure during transport, giving you peace of mind on your journey. Plus, the streamlined design helps to reduce wind noise and drag, making for a smoother and more fuel-efficient ride.

With a Roof Box, you can hit the road with confidence - knowing that your gear is well-protected and ready for your next adventure.

Roof Rack Compatibility

Our range of Snow Sports Carriers and Roof Boxes are compatible with most popular crossbar systems. Double check the length of ski and snowboard carriers to make sure they are the correct width. Also, ensure the width between fitting points is shorter than the bar length, the same goes with Roof Boxes.

Once you’ve got your gear sorted, rally the crew together and let the countdown begin!
