Roof Tray Kits for NZ Vehicles

Use the vehicle finder above to narrow the collection by make, model and year. Then check the individual product page to confirm the exact vehicle, roof type and mounting setup before ordering.

Traditional roof racks use two or more crossbars across the vehicle roof. A roof tray or platform creates a much larger flat carrying area, giving you more space for bulky gear and more mounting points for accessories.

Many products in this collection are complete vehicle-specific kits, while some listings may be individual trays or components. The product page will clearly show what is included and which mounting parts are supplied.

The right size depends on your vehicle, approved mounting setup and how much carrying space you need. If more than one tray size is available, compare the dimensions, vehicle proportions and intended use before choosing.

Load ratings vary by vehicle, tray and mounting system. Always use the load rating shown for the specific product and stay within the vehicle manufacturer's roof load limits.

Depending on the tray, you can add accessories for bikes, kayaks, skis, recovery gear, cargo, gas bottles, awnings and more. Accessory compatibility varies by platform, so check the individual product page before ordering.

Many roof tray kits can be installed at home, but some fixed-point, track or BackBone systems are more involved. The tray itself can also be awkward to lift, so having a second person to help is recommended.
