Stoke Equipment Co is based in Nelson, New Zealand, and we specialise in vehicle-specific roof racks, roof trays, bike racks, roof boxes, ski carriers and snow chains.
We started Stoke because roof rack fitment can be a bit of a minefield. Different vehicles use different mounting systems, load ratings matter, and not every rack or accessory works with every car. Getting it wrong is frustrating, expensive, and usually avoidable.
Our job is to make it easier to get the right setup the first time.
What we do
We stock trusted brands like Thule, Rhino-Rack, RockyMounts, Feldon Shelter and Konig, with roof racks, accessories and transport gear for a wide range of NZ vehicles.
Most of what we sell is vehicle-specific, so we spend a lot of time checking fitment, matching parts, and helping customers choose the setup that suits how they’ll actually use the vehicle - whether that’s carrying bikes, skis, kayaks, roof boxes, work gear, or extra luggage for family trips.

You can visit the store for advice, check out gear in person, or shop online and have your order shipped anywhere in New Zealand. We also offer local fitting and installation on selected products.
