The Rhino-Rack RNITHB1 Non-Invasive Backbone gives Toyota Hilux Double Cab owners a strong Pioneer Platform mounting system without drilling into the roof.

Designed specifically for bare-roof Toyota Hilux models, the new Non-Invasive Backbone uses vehicle-specific moulded roof pads and heavy-duty clamps to securely mount to the cab without removing the headliner or drilling the roof of the vehicle.

It gives you the strength and load distribution of Rhino-Rack's proven Backbone system, while remaining DIY-friendly and removable if you ever want to return the Hilux to its original setup.

Compatible Pioneer Platforms

The RNITHB1 Backbone is designed to be paired with the following 1500mm x 1240mm Pioneer 6 systems:

  • 62100 – Pioneer 6 Platform
  • 62100F – Pioneer 6 Flat Pack Platform
  • 65100 – Pioneer 6 Tradie Platform

Please note: This product is the RNITHB1 Backbone mounting system only. Pioneer Platform sold separately unless purchased as part of a complete roof rack kit.

Vehicle Compatibility

  • Toyota Hilux Gen 9 / N90 Double Cab – 2025 onwards
  • Toyota Hilux Gen 8 / N80 Double Cab – 2015–2025

Suitable for 4-door Double Cab models with a bare roof.

*Maximum load is subject to the vehicle manufacturer's roof load limit. Always use the lower of the vehicle or roof rack system load ratings. Roof load ratings include the weight of the roof rack system.
